Data & IT Support for Researchers
We offer free climate data and IT infrastructure to universities and research teams tackling critical studies on climate and well-being. Share your project with us to access tailored weather solutions.
Research Projects
Discover a portfolio of vital research supported by OpenWeather Foundation
 - HEATWAVES & WELLBEING- University of Napoli - This research investigates how prolonged heatwaves affect population health. By integrating weather data with public health infrastructure, the study identifies critical thresholds that trigger surges in hospital admissions, enabling targeted prevention strategies.
 - AI-RESPIRE- Imperial College London - AI-Respire leverages artificial intelligence to model how individuals and urban environments respond to air pollution, integrating data from cellular biology, respiratory health, and urban sensors. The project ultimately aims to empower individuals, policymakers, and city planners with actionable insights and adaptive strategies to create healthier living spaces.
 - DIVERSE-CDT- City, University of London, and the University of Warwick - The DIVERSE-CDT (Centre for Doctoral Training) is an initiative focused on developing innovative approaches to data visualisation that promote exploration, reflection, and scientific explanation. The CDT aims to train the next generation of data scientists, focusing on diversity in both the student body and the approaches to data visualisation.
